Counselling

GOSHH provides counselling for people with specific issues and concerns related to Gender, Orientation, Sexual Health and/or HIV. The counselling service has been described as enabling much more than basic support, nourishing both short and long term change.

If you or someone you know is experiencing issues related to Gender, Orientation, Sexual Health and/or HIV and you feel that talking to us might help, please ring to make an appointment on 061314354 or email counselling@goshh.ie

We will provide you with an appointment for an initial interview. This interview is to get a general sense of what your needs might be. Provided that this is the service that would best address your needs you will be assigned a Counsellor or referred to a more appropriate service.

Counselling and Psychotherapy provides individuals with an opportunity to explore issues and concerns in a safe non-judgmental, confidential environment and enables them to manage their lives more effectively.

At present there is no charge for counselling, however GOSHH is a registered charity, so if you would like to make a donation there are a number of ways to do so including the donation box at reception and the donate button on the GOSHH website.

Please note that there may be a waiting list in place. Counselling is currently only available to clients 18+. If you, or the person you are supporting is under the age of 18 but still feel that you may benefit from our services, then please check our section on Personal Support to see if that is suited to your needs.
