Who we are

GOSHH Ireland CLG (Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which provides care, support and prevention services relating to the LGBTI+, HIV, STI, and Sexual Health issues to people in the Mid-West of Ireland. We strive to ensure that people have access to local services which match and exceed those available in the rest of the country.

We provide a safe, confidential, and welcoming environment for everyone we work with. Our office is based in Limerick City and we work throughout Counties Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary. We focus on the promotion of equality and well-being for all with a positive and respectful approach to sexual orientation and gender diversity.

Our vision is to create an environment where the mental, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of everyone is promoted and sexual rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled.

Our Confidential helpline (061) 314354 is operated by trained staff who will answer any questions including issues such as gender, sexual orientation, STI Testing, Sexual Health and will refer to relevant agencies where appropriate.

GOSHH provides counselling, 1:1 personal support, family support, social groups for both youths and adults.

We also offer one-to-one support/support groups for those affected by HIV /HEP C including those who have been recently diagnosed.

GOSHH promote equality and wellbeing for all. GOSHH is committed to working to meet the unmet needs of under-served groups through Community development and outreach.

Gender and Orientation Training covering topics such as discrimination, coming out, gender stereotypes, identifying homophobic and transphobic behaviour. Sexual Health Workshops with topics include HIV, STI Testing, Working with Sex Workers.
