Shauna Moloney – LGBT Worker
Shauna joined the GOSHH team in 2019 as a Youth Worker before moving to her current role as LGBT Worker in November 2020.
Shauna is responsible for developing and maintaining individual support services for LGBTI+ people under 25 across the Mid-West. This is provided through one to one work by facilitating personal support sessions with people in the areas of gender and orientation.
In addition to this, Shauna’s role includes education and training for professionals in the area of gender and orientation in the Mid-West.
The workshops and training events are usually facilitated and designed to include participant engagement to explore existing biases and foster new awareness for the participants.
Shauna has a BSc in Applied Social Studies in Social Care and has experience working with young people and young adults in various different settings, furthermore she has additional qualifications in Integrative Psychotherapy.
