Eóin Burke joined the GOSHH team in June 2021 as our Outreach Worker. Eóin is responsible for developing LGBTI+ support services for communities in Clare and North Tipperary. Eóin works with adults from all age groups in the community and seeks to include those who may have felt isolated from services in the past.
Eóin can meet one to one with those who need support in the community, this can be regarding their gender and/or orientation, but is not limited to such. Opportunities to facilitate small groups are very welcome, and if there is any interest please feel free to get in contact. Larger social/cultural events and groupings can also be accommodated, in collaboration with our Community Development worker.
Eóin studied Sociology and Geography in Maynooth University, here he became involved in mental health activism. He graduation from University of Limerick in 2020 with an MA in Youth, Community and Social Regeneration. He has worked previously supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
